SmartOps

Facility operations / Built in Ohio

Less chasing updates.More ready rooms.

RoomFlow and MedTrack connect badge taps, visible device status and an operations dashboard. Give your team a shared view of room readiness and equipment events, with a record behind each update.

For clinic managers, environmental services and equipment operations teams.

Built around your problem

Room updates that reach the people waiting.

Clinic operations

Staff keep asking which room is ready.

Bring badge updates and room status into one shared workflow. Compare the displayed state with the team’s own observations during a focused pilot.

Environmental services

Work finishes before the status catches up.

Record the cleaning-workflow update at the point of work. Review missed updates and handoffs alongside existing procedures.

Equipment operations

An asset’s last update is hard to find.

Demonstrate device and badge-event history for one equipment workflow. Define who updates the record and what the next team needs to see.

01 / What you get

From a signal
to a useful decision.

01

Update at the point of work

A badge tap creates an event on the room device. Visible status helps staff find the next operational step without opening an app for every update.

02

A record behind the status

Review time, device and badge-event history in the backend. Export records for your own operational review.

03

Designed for interrupted connectivity

Keep operational continuity in view when connectivity is interrupted. The demonstration covers how the workflow handles an outage and recovery.

02 / The evaluation

A small start.
A clear way to learn.

See the working product in a private demonstration, confirm the result you need, and discuss supply or a manufacturing partnership.

  1. 01

Choose a room-readiness or equipment workflow.

  2. 02

Map staff roles, badges and device locations.

  3. 03

Run the pilot alongside your existing process.

  4. 04

Review missing events, turnaround and staff feedback.

Make the demonstration useful

Can staff keep a shared room status current without extra chasing?

One small operational area and one room-readiness workflow, running alongside the current process. No patient records are needed for the initial evaluation.

Discuss this evaluation →

Proposed evaluation scope

The final scope is agreed for your setup. A useful starting point includes:

  • A room-state and badge-role map
  • Device, mounting, power and network requirements
  • An event-history review with missed or duplicate updates identified
  • A comparison of staff effort and status accuracy

Status agreement

Compare displayed status with a staff-observed workflow record at agreed checkpoints.

Update effort

Record time and steps needed for a badge update versus the current process.

Offline recovery

Use an agreed network interruption to check queued events and replay after reconnecting.

Traceability

Reconcile badge events, device records and timestamps; flag unexplained differences.

  1. 01

    Describe the problem

Share your setup and the result you need. A short description is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Review the fit

Dakota replies with relevant questions and a proposed demonstration or evaluation step.

  3. 03

    Agree the work

For paid work, confirm the deliverables, price, acceptance criteria and timing in writing before payment.

Tell me what you need to learn. I’ll review the fit and help define a useful evaluation.

  • ↗A walkthrough of your room or equipment workflow
  • ↗A demonstration of badge events, device status and the dashboard
  • ↗An agreed pilot area with installation and network requirements documented
  • ↗A review of event completeness, staff effort and operational usefulness

Pricing depends on devices, installation and support. Scope and delivery are agreed before payment.

04 / Before you decide

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Does a green status mean a room is clinically safe?+

It reflects the recorded workflow state. SmartOps does not test sterility, diagnose, or replace a facility's cleaning protocols and clinical decisions.

Does the pilot need patient data?+

The initial operational workflow can be scoped around room, device and staff identifiers without patient records. Data access and retention requirements are agreed with the facility.

Is it HIPAA or FDA certified?+

No certification claim is made. Security and regulatory suitability must be reviewed for your intended deployment. A documented architecture is not a regulatory approval.

Is installation plug-and-play?+

A working prototype is available. Power, network access, mounting, badge compatibility and operational training are checked before the pilot; production specifications are quoted separately.

Start with the problem you need to solve.
